By using HexaConvert you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

HexaConvert is a free collection of file and text tools that run in your web browser. There is no account to create and no charge to use it. We may add, change or withdraw tools at any time, and we may stop offering the service altogether.

You keep every right you already had in the files you open and in the results you produce. Using the site grants us no licence over them, and we take no ownership of anything you make with it.

You are responsible for the files you process, including having the right to process them. Do not use the site to infringe anyone's copyright, to handle material you are not permitted to handle, or to break the law of the place you are in.

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that a conversion will succeed, that its output will be correct or complete, or that any tool will be available or uninterrupted. Several tools state their known limits on the page itself; those statements are descriptions of behaviour rather than guarantees.

Because everything runs on your device, nothing is backed up anywhere. If your browser runs out of memory, a tab crashes or you close the page during a conversion, the work in progress is gone and cannot be recovered by us or by you. Keep your original files, and check any result before you rely on it or send it to somebody else.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, nor for any loss of data, profits, revenue or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not permit it to be excluded or limited.

Do not attempt to disrupt the service or the infrastructure that delivers it, to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, or to use automated means to place unreasonable load on it.

The HexaConvert name, logo and site design belong to us. The tools are built on open source software, and each of those projects remains under its own licence.

These terms may change. The date at the top of this page changes with them, and continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the revised terms.
